Blade Installation

  • Use the Allen Key loosen the screw in the copper clamp.
  • Insert two pins of the blade in to the copper clamp, and then tighten the screw, make sure that the clamp is touch enough with the blade, if not the blade will not work well.

Applications

  • KS80 hot knife cutter, used together with different type blades, can be used for cutting different materials.
  • Use together with B01,B06,B07 blades, can be used for plastic film cutting and trepanning.
  • Use together with B08 blade, can be used for plastic shovelling and fusing.
  • Use together with B10 blade, can be used for cutting fabrics, rope, webbing etc.
  • According to user's cutting demands, can be used together with other customized blades for some different type cutting.

Cutting process

  • Turn the temperature adjustment to the middle place, put the blade in the goods for cutting, and then press the switch. Only seconds, the blade will heat up, before real cutting, suggest do the trial cutting in the waste materials.
  • The temperature adjustment have 16 steps, you can check that the line in the knob, when the line is longer, that the output power larger.
  • Make sure the harmony of temperature and speed when cutting. If there is too much smoke, reason may be slow cutting or the overheated. It will lead to irregular and uneven cutting for the materials.In this case, need to adjust the work temperature of the blade or loosen the switch intermittent when cutting.
  • Loosen the switch, when there is only 3-5cm before finishing the cutting.
  • Please clear the residuum in the blade by copper brush after cutting

Notices:

  • Please make sure the tool is used under condition of ventilation.
  • Don't burn the residuum in the blade, the blade will be crooked.
  • Don't burn the blade without touching the cutting materials.
  • Don't touch the blade by hand when heating, and don't put the blade near to the inflammable after heating.
  • Handle the blade after cooling to avoid scalding.
  • Make sure the suitable output power and cutting speed, overheating will burn out the blade.
